Height: 6-2

Hometown: Germantown, Md.
High School: Seneca Valley
You were born in Monrovia, Liberia. How did your family end up in the United States?
???We moved to the U.S. when I was a year old because of the civil war there. My parents wanted my older sisters and me to have a better life, to be able to go to school and then to college. The war was tearing our country apart. I was really young when we moved, though.???
Did your parents have jobs lined up here?
???They pretty much had to come here and make the best of their situation. We had some family that they knew, but they had to work hard to get us settled. We originally moved from Africa to Cleveland, Ohio, and then to Silver Springs, Md., before finally ending up in Germantown (Md.) by the time I was in middle school.???
Do you feel fortunate to be where you are today?
???Yeah, I have a bracelet that I got from Africa that I wear a lot to remind me where I came from. I keep pictures of my family close because of what we???ve been through and the support they show for me. I have had a strong supporting cast along the way.???
What attracted you to Tennessee?
???This is big-time football, a big-time program in a big-time atmosphere. I wanted the best situation to make my college career special, and it is all about football here.???
How did your spring go?
???It was a transition. The offensive linemen I was going up against weren???t 5-foot-10 anymore. They were the top talent in the country. It was a transition that I had to work very hard at. You???ve got to realize you???re not a boy anymore.???
Who are your role models?
???I would say Tommie Harris and Brian Urlacher from the Chicago Bears. I had a teammate who was a year older than me in high school that I also really looked up to because he always did the right thing. His name is Kevin Quigley. He went to Army to play ball.???
What do you do in your free time?
???I beat Art Evans and Eric Berry at video games, hang out and listen to music. I???m in to a lot of different kinds of music.???
