You sang in your high school choir and your church choir. How did you find out you could sing?
???I was kind of thrown into a music class at my school, and my mom made me sing in the church choir. I enjoyed it, so I didn???t really have a problem with it. I was a sophomore in high school when I started singing.???
You won back-to-back state basketball championships in high school. Can you describe those experiences?
???It was fun experience. The first one was our school???s first state championship ever, so everyone really rallied around us. The second one was even more special because it was my last year, and we worked a lot harder for it.???
You???re one of four freshmen from Big 12 Conference areas. What made you decide to come to the SEC?
???There were a couple of schools in the Big 12 that I was interested in, but the SEC was the place I wanted to go. I feel like it???s the best conference, and I want to be playing with the best.???
How are things shaking out at the WR position so far?
???I???m looking to get some playing time at the slot position. That puts me one-on-one with big safeties and linebackers, guys I can beat. It gets me in the open field, and I feel like that???s where I???m best.???
What is something that few people know about you?
???A lot of people don???t know that I can sing or that I can play the piano, too.???
Who are your role models?
???My biggest role model is my mom. She shows me things by doing it, not saying it. When it comes to football, I enjoy watching Reggie Bush.???
Do you have a pet peeve or something you can???t stand?
???My biggest pet peeve is people who want the best, but won???t go out and make the best for themselves. They want it to come to them. I was always told if you want something, then go get it.???
