Have you decided what you???re going to study?
???I actually haven???t decided yet. I???m in a career class right now, looking into some of my interests. But I haven???t really chosen a direction yet.???
You were one of several freshmen who could have played several positions. Are you happy with being a linebacker?
???I???m very happy. I feel like I am at a position where I can excel. This is a position where both the coaches and I felt like I could help the team the most.???
Do you look forward to putting the pads back on every preseason or do you dread it because of the heat?
???It is definitely something I look forward to. I like playing physical football. I was really excited when we went out the first day because we just lined up and hit. There was no easing into it.???
Did you bring anything with you to school to remind you of home?
???I brought a bunch of pictures to remind me of my friends and family. My friend???s mom made me a collage of things from my senior year, so I have that with me too.???
What did you want to grow up to be when you were younger?
???When I was little, I wanted to go into the Marines like my uncle and my grandfather. My uncle has always been a big influence on me. He taught me everything I need to be successful.???
Is there a player you model your game after?
???I really don???t try to model myself after anybody. I don???t think you should try to be anybody else. I was always taught to be my own man, so I just try to play how I play.???
Do you have a pet peeve or something that really bothers you?
???I really don???t like clutter, or to be around too many people. I have got to have my own space.???
