TENNIS VOLS TRAVEL TO VANDERBILT AND KENTUCKY THIS WEEKEND

The 22nd-ranked Tennessee men's tennis travels away from Knoxville for the first time in three weeks this weekend when it travels to SEC East foes Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
Vanderbilt (8-8, 2-4 SEC) is led Illinois natives Nik Cromydas, ranked 125th, and Ryan Preston, ranked 63rd. The Commodores are currently on a three-match losing streak. Vanderbilt's wins in the SEC are over Arkansas and Auburn. Vandy freshman Vijay Paul has compiled a 9-2 record at the No. 4 spot in the singles lineup. Tennessee is an impressive 13-3 this season at the No. 4 position in singles.
Tennessee leads the all-time series with Vanderbilt 47-11.
Kentucky (12-8, 2-4 SEC) won a doubleheader over Tennessee Tech and Morehead State on Wednesday. The Wildcats have two players ranked in the ITA top-125, Bruno Agostinelli (88th) and Will Ward (96th). Agostinelli is 10-7 at the No. 1 position in the lineup. Junior Marcus Sundh has a team-best 14-4 dual-match record. Wildcat senior Peter Bjork played for Tennessee head coach Sam Winterbotham at Colorado before the program was cut at the end of last season.
Tennessee leads the all-time series with Kentucky 40-35.
