TENNESSEE RANKED NO. 30 IN ITA TEAM TENNIS RAKINGS

The Tennessee men's tennis team moved up two spots to No. 30 Tuesday in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.

The ranking is the highest of the season for Tennessee. The Vols after opening the season ranked 41st, have moved up in every poll this season. The Vols (6-2) only losses have come to top-10 teams, Ohio State (No. 2) and Illinois (No. 7).

The Volunteers open SEC play Friday when it hosts 20th-ranked LSU at 4 p.m. The first 200 fans to show up for the match will receive a bag of Golden Flake Chips and everybody that attends is eligible to enter a raffle for a chance to win an iPod or a pair of adidas shoes.
