RAMAR SMITH TO ENROLL IN CLASSES AT TENNESSEE

University of Tennessee Associate Athletics Director for Compliance Brad Bertani announced this afternoon that Ramar Smith's SAT test score has been validated by the Educational Testing Service. Smith has been cleared by the university to enroll in classes by the end of the week. Smith has also been classified as a qualifier by the NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse.
"I am very happy for Ramar and his family that he will get the opportunity to go to school at Tennessee," head basketball coach Bruce Pearl said. "I appreciate the patience and support from the University and we will do everything we can to support Ramar as he gets caught up academically."
