INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS ON SALE FOR TENNESSEE BASKETBALL

Tickets for select individual men's and women's basketball games along with various mini-ticket packages will go on sale to the public Wednesday, October 11.
Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone by calling (865) 656-1200 or at the UT Ticket Office, located at Thompson-Boling Arena, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. 6:30 p.m. EST.
Individual tickets for most non-conference games for men's basketball will be available Wednesday for $8 each. Individual tickets for Memphis and Texas will be $15 each. Tickets for SEC opponents are not available for single-game purchase at this time.
Men's basketball is offering several package options this year.
- Season tickets in the 300 level are available for $154 each.
- Family Plan season tickets in section 314 are available for $80. Fans must purchase a minimum of four tickets with a maximum of eight per household.
- Five game mini packs are $75 each. The Rocky Top Pack includes Memphis, Mississippi State, LSU, Vanderbilt and Florida. The Big Orange Pack includes Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky and Alabama. Tickets for mini packs will be in sections 309A-311A.
- Holiday Packs are available for $30 each and include Texas, Tennessee Tech and East Tennessee State.
All individual game tickets for women's basketball will be on sale Wednesday. General admission tickets are $10 each with reserved seats available for $15 each.
Women's basketball package options include:
- Season tickets in the 200 and 300 level are $155 for children age 18 and under and $215 for adults. Alumni who graduated from the university within the past five years can purchase season tickets for $165 each.
- Family Plan season tickets in sections 304, 305 and 306 are available for $90 each. Fans must purchase a minimum of four tickets with a maximum of eight per household.
- Coke Six Packs are $90 each. The Coke Six Pack includes Notre Dame, Alabama, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Both the men's and women's basketball programs have seen a dramatic rise in season ticket sales this year.
Men's basketball season tickets rose from 9,512 in 2005 to more than 12,389 so far this season. It marks the first time in six years the men's basketball team has surpassed the 12,000 season ticket number.
The 2006-07 season marks the ninth consecutive year women's basketball season ticket sales have surpassed the 8,700 mark, with 9,740 season tickets already sold for 2006-07 season.
TENNESSEE BASKETBALL COACHES CLINIC SET FOR OCTOBER 27-28
The University of Tennessee basketball programs will host a coaches clinic on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.
Head women's basketball coach, Pat Summitt along with head men's basketball coach, Bruce Pearl will spend time with coaches who are interested in helping their teams reach the next level of success.
Friday night's session will begin at 5:00 p.m. with registration and include individual workouts and Q&A sessions with Pearl and Summitt, as well as a complimentary coach's social at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. Saturday's session will include complimentary breakfast and lunch as well as men's and women's practice sessions.
Registration deadline is October 20. The cost of the clinic is $75 per person for both sessions or $50 per person for Friday's or Saturday's session only.
Each coach will also receive a special gift from Pearl and Summitt, UT clinic notes and coaching packet, promotional booklet from many leading sports companies, and attendance to a sport apparel and equipment expo.
