This Saturday, January 7, marks the statewide debut of "The Bruce Pearl Show," a thirty-minute weekly insight into Tennessee basketball. Coach Bruce Pearl joins the Vol Network's Bob Kesling for nine successive programs taking viewers through the entire SEC schedule from early January to the end of the regular season. The inaugural episode includes a snapshot of Tennessee's 9-1 start with highlights from a number of games including the Vols' win at Texas.
In addition, guard C.J Watson joins the coach on-set for a first-ever Coach/Player interactive segment.
The show's midpoint includes a dramatic and intense look at the pace set forth by Coach Pearl as he sports a wireless microphone throughout practice.
This "Big Orange Behind-the-Scenes" feature is just one of several unique segments viewers will see throughout the season as the Vol Network promotes the Tennessee basketball program and its high-energy coach. Each Pearl Show will be close-captioned for the hearing impaired, a first for Vol Network produced shows.
In addtion the Pearl TV Show will be available for viewing over the Internet through Tennessee's Vol Network broadcast page on Yahoo! Sports.
