UT to Sell Limited Number of Football Tickets August 18

Individual game tickets for four University of Tennessee home football games - University of Alabama-Birmingham (Sept. 3), Ole Miss (Oct. 1), South Carolina (Oct. 29) and Vanderbilt (Nov. 19) - will be available for purchase online at utsports.com, via phone at (800) 332-VOLS and at Thompson-Boling Arena beginning Thursday August 18.
These tickets are excess from the visiting opponents' allotment, and will now be available for Vol fans.
"We are very pleased with the response for ticket sales this year," said Mike Hamilton, men's athletic director. "Fans are definitely getting excited about this team."
According to Hamilton, ticket sales for the home opener against UAB are ahead of where they were this time last year for the UNLV game.
Tickets are $38 for UAB and Vanderbilt and $45 for Ole Miss and South Carolina plus shipping and handling. South Carolina ticket orders are limited to four per person.
The ticket office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. eastern Monday thru Friday. Fans ordering tickets online at utsports.com will be able to see their seat locations at the time of order.
