Vols Announce Sales for the SugarVols Reunion

The University of Tennessee Athletic Department and the Vol Network will host a special gala reunion titled "A Night With the 1985 SugarVols" for members of the 1985 Tennessee football team and UT fans at the newly restored Tennessee Theatre in downtown Knoxville on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the event go on sale Saturday, Aug. 13 at 9 a.m. Eastern for $50 each. Guests will be treated to a special program on the stage at the Tennessee Theatre followed by the grand premier screening of the Vol Network's special edition 20th Anniversary 1985 SugarVols on DVD. Each ticket order will be presented a copy of the two-disc collector's edition DVD that contains, among other things, the ABC Sports telecast of the 1986 Sugar Bowl in its entirety. Everyone in attendance will receive a commemorative full-color SugarVols poster and a Big Orange dessert will be provided to theatregoers after the screening.
Members of the 1985 Tennessee Volunteers will be in attendance along with Johnny Majors, John Ward and others. There will be a meet and greet autograph session with the '85 SugarVols from 7-8 p.m. This is the 20th anniversary of the team that won the hearts of Tennessee fans by winning 1985 SEC Championship and upsetting No. 2 Miami in the 1986 Sugar Bowl.
