Diamond Vols Travel to ETSU Wednesday

The Tennessee baseball team travels to Johnson City Wednesday where it faces ETSU in a 7 p.m. contest at Cardinal Park. The Volunteers won both meetings in a home-and-home series with the Buccaneers last season by a combined score of 26-5.
Tennessee is 16-5 (2-1 SEC) this season, including a 3-1 record on the road. The Vols have won their last four games in Johnson City and lead the all-time series with ETSU 52-7, dating to 1967.
ETSU is off to an 11-5 (2-4 SoCON) start, and the Buccaneers are hitting .308 as a team with 21 home runs. Preseason All-America selection Caleb Moore leads the Bucs with six home runs and 23 RBIs.
Sophomore Craig Cobb (2-0, 2.30 ERA) is Tennessee's scheduled starter Wednesday night, while ETSU counters with right-handed junior Jeremy Hall (3-1, 5.03 ERA).
