UT Unveils Plans for VolJam 2005

The UT athletics department announced plans Friday for VolJam 2005 -- an all-day event designed to celebrate athletics and allow fans to experience the variety of athletics programs on campus. This year's debut takes place April 16.

The fun-filled day for fans of all ages begins at 9 a.m. with the Sea Ray Relays at Tom Black Track. Other events include the nationally-ranked Lady Vols tennis team taking on Georgia, the Edamerica Orange and White football game and the Vols versus Arkansas in baseball under the lights.

Between the football and baseball games is the "Big Orange Chill," featuring food and games with live entertainment by The Chillbillies. This activity kicks off at 5 p.m. on Haslam Field.

Fans interested in attending all the events can purchase an All Vol Ticket, which includes admission to the "Big Orange Chill." All Vol Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under.

Admission to the Sea Ray Relays and Lady Vols' tennis match is free. Tickets to the Edamerica Orange and White game are $5 for adults and $3 for children, and tickets for the Vols baseball game are $4 for adults and $2 for children.

Sales for the edAmerica Orange and White game will be onsite the day of the game starting at noon. Ticket Booths will be located at Gates 10, 21, 25.

1 p.m.	Fan Day on the field at Neyland Stadium, where fans can mingle with football players and coaches and collect autographs

5 p.m.	"The Big Orange Chill" at Haslam Field
7 p.m.	Vols versus Arkansas at Lindsey Nelson Stadium
