LADY VOL HOOPSTER HORNBUCKLE IN A CAST

KNOXVILLE, TENN. --- Jenny Moshak, University of Tennessee Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine, announced today that Lady Vol sophomore guard Alexis Hornbuckle had sustained an injury to her left hand.
"Alexis suffered collateral ligament damage to her left thumb," said Moshak. "She will be in a cast for approximately 10 days but can continue to practice."
Hornbuckle suffered the injury in practice on Monday.
The 5-11 guard, appeared in all 35 games last season and logged 21 starts while averaging 8.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 3.3 apg.
Moshak indicated that Hornbuckle's injury would be re-evaluated in two weeks.
