UT-Georgia Scheduled for CBS and Afternoon Kickoff

The Southeastern Conference announced Friday that Tennessee's Oct. 9 matchup against Georgia is being televised by CBS Sports and kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time. The game will be UT's second appearance on CBS this year after the Vols defeated Florida 30-28 last Saturday.
Tennessee leads the overall series by a 17-14-2 margin despite losing its last four to the Bulldogs. Prior to the current spell, UT won nine in a row over Georgia from 1989-99.
Phillip Fulmer's record against Georgia is 8-4, including a 4-2 mark in Athens.
TROTTER HIGHLIGHTS SATURDAY'S 'KICKOFF CALL-IN SHOW'
UT Olympic gold medalist Dee Dee Trotter is scheduled to be a guest for a segment of the "Kickoff Call-In Show."
The program airs as part of the Vol Network's pregame coverage leading into Saturday's UT-Louisiana Tech football game. Fans attending the game can visit the live broadcast of the "Kickoff Call-In Show" beginning at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time at the northwest corner of Phillip Fulmer Dr. and Andy Holt Blvd.
