The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released updated national team rankings Tuesday. Tennessee (3-1, 0-0 SEC) remains the No. 54-ranked team in the country.
Defending national champion Illinois remains the top-ranked team in the nation following its first-place finish in last weekend's USTA/ITA National Men's Team Indoor Championships. The Fighting Illini are followed in the top 10 by UCLA, Stanford, Ole Miss, Baylor, Duke, Florida, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Washington, respectively.
The Southeastern Conference maintained its strong presence in the rankings by placing three teams in the top 10. The SEC is the only conference in the nation to place all of its teams in the top 60.
Tuesday's rankings were voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee, which includes the chairs from each of the ITA's eight regions.
The ITA will release updated team and individual (singles and doubles) rankings Feb. 24.
