Nashville, Tenn. - Phillip Fulmer and Johnny Majors hadn't been in the same room together since Fulmer took over from Majors as the Tennessee head football coach in 1992. But their love for the University of Tennessee and its football program came through loud and clear this past summer when they met with a group of thirty former Tennessee football legends and Vol play by play announcer Bob Kesling in Nashville.
The all day event was filled with laughter fond memories and even tears as former Vol gridiron greats shared stories and memories of six decades of Tennessee football. Mixed into the five hour video recording are dozens of highlight video clips of many of the greatest Tennessee games against top opponents such as Alabama, Miami, Penn State and UCLA.
The event was produced by Gabriel Sports Reunion, a Nashville-based company specializing in home video production. The Tennessee reunion events were recorded in Nashville. According to President and CEO Larry Black, 60, the recording sessions may be his business, but meeting some of southern football's greatest legends is also a pleasure.
The release of the Tennessee Football Legends Reunion video is just in time for the Holiday season, said Black, whose product makes the perfect gift for any Tennessee football-loving father, brother or boyfriend.
