Comcast Sports Southeast / Charter Sports Southeast announced Monday that it will televise all five of the University of Tennessee's Saturday Southeastern Conference home baseball games at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. As a result, start time for those five games has been moved to 7 p.m. ET.
"We are really excited about the exposure we gain for the program from having CSS televise our games," said head coach Rod Delmonico. "Having a Saturday night game of the week is something special I think our fans can really get into. We have some really good matchups on tap which will make for exciting baseball."
Since 1990 Tennessee has had over 70 games televised with all-time high of 18 in 2001.
Comcast Sports Southeast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS), a partnership between Comcast Corporation and Charter Communications, is a 24-hour regional sports network. Currently, CSS has approximately 4 million subscribers across nine Southeastern states.
