Vols Well Represented on All-SEC Football Teams

Tennessee punter Dustin Colquitt and center Scott Wells earned All-Southeastern Conference first-team nods to highlight release of the coaches and Associated Press All-SEC squads.
Colquitt was a first-team choice on both teams, while Wells garnered the coaches' selection. Colquitt leads the league in punting and ranks fourth nationally with a 45.9-yard average. He is a finalist for the Ray Guy Award and has been named to All-America teams by both the Football Writers and Walter Camp. Wells, a captain for the 10-2 Vols, has anchored the UT line at center for four years and currently rides a streak of 48 consecutive starts dating to the 2000 season.
Other Vols named All-SEC second team by the coaches were linebacker Kevin Burnett, tailback Cedric Houston, offensive tackle Michael Munoz, linebacker Kevin Simon and strong safety Gibril Wilson. The writers tabbed free safety Rashad Baker to their second team along with Simon, Wells and Wilson.
Colquitt along with Arkansas' offensive tackle Shawn Andrews, Auburn outside linebacker Karlos Dansby, Auburn running back Carnell Williams were unanimous selections to the coaches All-SEC squad.
