Tennessee placed five players on the Knoxville News Sentinel's Southeastern Conference All-Freshman team announced Tuesday.
Placekicker James Wilhoit, wide receiver Jayson Swain, free safety Corey Campbell, cornerback Atwan Stewart and offensive tackle Arron Sears were named to the 30-man team.
The five players selected to this year's team are the most for Tennessee since the Vols had five in News Sentinel's first Freshman All-SEC squad in 1986.
Last week Wilhoit, Sears and Stewart were selected to The Sporting News SEC All-Freshman team.
The coaches' All-SEC Freshman team is expected to be announced later this week by the conference office in Birmingham.
