19 ROWERS NAMED TO THE SEC ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.
The University of Tennessee women's rowing team placed 19 student-athletes onto the 2002 Southeastern Conference non-championship sponsored Academic Honor Roll announced by SEC Commissioner Roy Kramer on May 20. A total of 63 student-athletes over five sports from five institutions earned that recognition.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 grade point average for the past year or for her career, must be a sophomore or higher in academic classification, must have 24 semester hours countable toward a degree, and must earn a letter for the season honored.
The Lady Vol rowing team finished the 2001-02 season on Sunday when they competed in the Lexus Central/Southern Sprints.
