Official Statement Regarding Kelley Washington's Status

STARKVILLE -- University of Tennessee athletic medical staff coordinated further consultation of sophomore wide receiver Kelley Washington's injury earlier this week.

The specifics of this consultation are yet to be released until all parties have reviewed the results.

Washington, who earned freshman All-America honors last season, has caught 23 passes for 443 yards and a touchdown this season in four games. He has not played since suffering a concussion in the final minutes of the Vols' 18-13 loss at Georgia Oct. 12.
