Fulmer Q&A
Tennessee vs. Georgia

Athens, Ga.
CBS -3:30 p.m. (EDT)
1. After experiencing a six-overtime game with Arkansas last week, what changes would you like in the college rules to settle a tie? Or, maybe, just let them tie?
A - "No, I don't think we should just let a tie stand. A tie creates too many problems. If I had a choice, I would prefer a sudden-death format. Have a kickoff, play field position, play it more like regular football. That was exciting in the Arkansas game, but I wouldn't want to go through it very often."
2. How can going through six overtimes and coming out with a win benefit the Vols as they continue through a demanding set of games that includes Georgia Saturday?
A - "It brought our team closer together. I'm happy with the final score, but not with the things that got us into that situation, like giving up a 92-yard pass. The team rose to the occasion. There was good camaraderie with everybody playing their hardest and cheering for each other. It became a positive for our team."
3. How are Demetrin Veal and Aubrayo Franklin, neither listed as a starter going into the season, bringing quality play to the defensive line?
A - "Both played outstanding football against Arkansas. Veal and Franklin are quality people, very team oriented young men, who played big roles in our victory over the Razorbacks. We expect to be seeing a lot more of them in future games."
4. To what extent has David Greene improved since last season and provided the leadership for Georgia's offense?
A - "David is a tremendous leader for the Georgia offense. He makes good, sound decisions in both the running and passing games. He's an accurate passer. What's best about him is that he's a clutch player who makes the big plays for Georgia when the Bulldogs need them."
5. What will the Vols need to do to get ready for a game with Georgia, the only remaining unbeaten team in the Southeastern Conference?
A - "We must play our best game of the season against an exceptionally talented and sound Georgia team. The Bulldogs have all the tools in the offensive game - good quarterbacking, tough line play, quality runners and excellent receivers. It's the same story over on the defensive side of the field. Kicking and the return game are also topnotch. We need our best week of preparation in getting ready for Georgia, and then we need great execution on Saturday."
