| GAMEDAY ACTIVITIES AT TENNESSEE TIMING SCHEDULE 3 p.m. -- WILL CALL OPEN -- The ticket will call gate located at gate 21 will open at 3 p.m. 3:30-6:30 p.m. -- Tostitos Volunteer Village open at Humanities Plaza.
4:30 p.m. -- Lettermen's Room open at Thompson-Boling Arena. 5:30 p.m. -- VOL WALK -- The Tennessee football team will begin its game day trek to Neyland Stadium beginning at 5:30 p.m. The team, led by coach Phillip Fulmer and team captains, will leave from the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center, walk up Lake Loudoun Boulevard to Volunteer Drive and then down Peyton Manning Pass to the stadium. 5:45 p.m. -- GATES OPEN -- All gates to Neyland Stadium will open at 5:45 p.m. 5:55 p.m. -- PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND PROCESSION--The University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Band will make its way to Neyland Stadium beginning at 5:55 p.m. The band will follow its normal route of marching down Volunteer Boulevard to Andy Holt Avenue to Stadium Drive, stopping along the way to "Salute the Hill," before marching into the stadium through Gate 21. 6:15 p.m. -- KICKOFF CALL-IN SHOW--The Tennessee football kickoff call-in show hosted by Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Jeff Francis will begin at 6:15 p.m. on the Vol Radio Network. The number to participate in the program is 1-800-688-8657. Tennessee Cellular One customers of Verizon Wireless can call free at *UT. The on-campus location will be at the northwest corner of Phillip Fulmer Drive and Andy Holt Boulevard. 7:47 p.m. -- KICKOFF--Kickoff for the Alabama-Tennessee game will be at 7:47 p.m., on ESPN with Ron Franklin, Mike Gottfried and Adrian Karsten calling the action. PREGAME HALFTIME STADIUM/PARKING INFORMATION KNOXVILLE CIVIC COLISEUM: General public parking will be available at the Civic Coliseum parking garage at a cost of $5 per car. Spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Shuttle bus service will be provided by KAT at a cost of $3 per round trip. Faculty and Staff attending the game are encouraged to avoid the campus area and use alternative transportation. RV PARKING: There will be no recreational vehicle parking on the main campus without a permit. RV's will find parking at the Civic Coliseum and at the Blackstock Street lot located behind the Foundry at the North World's Fair area. The cost is $25 per day, with room for approximately 100 RVs and hookups for 20. Security will be provided at the Coliseum site beginning Friday after 3 p.m. KAT Shuttle service to Neyland Stadium is available. CENTRAL ALLRIGHT PARKING: Approximately 40 lots in the downtown, Old City and Fort Sanders areas. Game day prices from $3 to $20. TYSON PARK: A parking lot will be available for about 300 vehicles at Tyson Park. The park will be accessible only by Concord Street and the charge will be $5 per vehicle. ON-CAMPUS DINING: Dining facilities open on gameday include Arena Dining at Thompson-Boling Arena located on the east end. Also, various food vendors will be located at Volunteer Village at the Humanities Plaza. KAT Bus Transportation: Numerous KAT buses are designated for transporting fans to and from the Coliseum at a round-trip cost of $3 per person starting three hours prior to game time. There will be four buses running from the Farragut area to Neyland Stadium at a round-trip cost of $8 per person starting three hours prior to game time. The Knoxville Police Department urges local fans to leave home at least 3 1/2 hours early.
