Vols All-Time Senior Bowl Roster
Seven Tennessee seniors close out their collegiate playing careers Saturday in a pair of all-star bowl games. Five Vols are set to appear at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., while two more will participate at the Gridiron Classic in Orlando, Fla.
The South roster for the Senior Bowl includes UT's fullback Will Bartholomew, defensive back Andre Lott, defensive end Will Overstreet, tailback Travis Stephens and offensive guard Fred Weary. The Vols' five players ranks second only to UCLA's six at this year's Senior Bowl.
UT ranks third all-time in Senior Bowl with 92 participants as players showcase their talents to professional coaches and scouts. Three UT players have earned most valuable player honors at the Senior Bowl-Steve DeLong in 1965, Alvin Harper in 1991 and Charlie Garner in 1994
At the Gridiron Classic, Team USA will be represented by Vols offensive tackle Reggie Coleman and linebacker Dominique Stevenson. Saturday's kickoffs are 2 p.m. (EST) for the Gridiron Classic and 5 p.m. (EST) for the Senior Bowl, with both games televised by ESPN.
An eighth Tennessee senior, defensive end Bernard Jackson, plays for the South squad Feb. 2 at the Hula Bowl. Kickoff from Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, is 8 p.m. (EST), with ESPN also carrying the telecast.
Tennessee's two-time All-America defensive tackle John Henderson declined invitations to play in postseason all-star games to concentrate on the upcoming NFL combines.
