Tara VanDerveer and Marianne Stanley, who both coached NCAA champions, are among eight people joining the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame this year.
The smallest group of inductees since the hall opened in 1999 will be inducted April 26-27 in Knoxville.
VanDerveer led Stanford to two national titles in the 1990s and coached the U.S. team to Olympic gold in 1996. Stanley won three titles at Old Dominion in the 1970s and 1980s and is now an assistant coach with the WNBA's Washington Mystics.
