Vol Profile: John Henderson
VOL PROFILE: What kind of leader do you want to be as one of the team captains?
Henderson: "Basically just go out there and show them by example. Try not to do too much yelling, but try to get my point across to them, and let them know how I feel, and let them know what we need to go out there and do. Just let them see it my eyes that I'm ready to go out there and play, and let them follow me."
VOL PROFILE: Is there anyone you look to for motivation?
Henderson: "I always look at Al Wilson, and I always say that because he always gets the blood in your veins going, just gets you ready to go out there and play, that's who I look to."
VOL PROFILE: Do you have a favorite or most memorable moment on the field?
Henderson: "I've had so many moments on the field, I really couldn't name one."
VOL PROFILE: What's your favorite thing about UT?
Henderson: "Going out there every Saturday in front of almost 110,000 people and just playing football and giving it my all. It's just the atmosphere and being out there in the orange and white, and representing the University of Tennessee."
VOL PROFILE: After you graduate, what would you like to be remembered for?
Henderson: "Just John Henderson--the neat freak. He was clean and a great leader who led by example, and he was a great competitor."
VOL PROFILE: What are your hobbies and interests outside of football?
Henderson: "Basically cleaning, and just relaxing and being with my son and family."
