in a 68-0 rout of Tennessee Tech in 1951...The all-time scoring record for UT
is 104 points scored in a 104-0 win over American University in 1905...Today's
70 points ranks No. 9 all-time...The Vols 10 touchdowns ties the UT single-game
record set in 1951 vs. Tennessee Tech...Alex Walls 10 PATs today breaks John
Becksvoorts single-game mark of 9 set against Vanderbilt in a 65-0 win.
Today's victory over Louisiana-Monore gives UT
17 consecutive Homecoming wins dating back to a 1983 loss to Mississippi (13-10)The
Vols now have a 59-18-8 (.741)Todays game was the first-ever meeting between
UT and Louisiana-Monore...ULM is now 2-13 all-time against the SEC...The Vols led
28-0 after the first quarter, falling short of the a school record 31 points
in a quarter set in the 1977 Oregon State game and the 1990 Pacific game...Today's
attendance was 107,327the seventh-largest crowd in UT history. Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer is the
nations winningest active head coach...Following todays game, Fulmer has a 78-15
(.839) mark now in his ninth season at his alma mater...Fulmer's record includes

two touchdowns on 10 carries this afternoon...The 64-yard effort is a season-high. A.J. Suggs, a redshirt freshman, made his
second straight start at QB today...Suggs finished the day 8-of-16 for 141
yards with one TD and one interception...Suggs 68-yard TD pass to Eric Parker
in the first quarter was a career-long, bettering the 51-yard throw to Donte
Stallworth in the season opening win over Southern Mississippi. Freshman quarterback Casey Clausen made
his collegiate debut today and wasted no time in producing a score...Clausens
first college play & pass resulted in a 19-yard touchdown pass to WR David
Martin...The scoring pass gave the Vols a 28-0 lead at the 3:10 markClausen was
12-of-15 for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns todayThe Northridge, Calif., native
missed much of preseason practice with tendinitis in his throwing (right) shoulder. Eric Parker's first quarter 68-yard TD reception
from A.J. Suggs was a season-long for the Vols...Parker's TD reception included
62 yards after the catch...The play was a career long for Parker, whose previous
long was a 45-yard TD last season at Florida...Parker had 4 receptions for 95
yards and 1 TD today. Cedrick Wilson had 6 catches for 69 yards
and two touchdowns today, moving him to No. 7 on the Vols all-time receptions
list with 115, passing Craig Faulkner (110) Wilson also moved to No. 9 on UTs
all-time receiving yardage list with 1620, passing Thomas Woods (1615).Wilson
now has 15 career touchdown receptions, tying him for No. 5 on UT's all-time
list with Tim McGee. Butkus Award Candidate Eric Westmoreland had
a big day, recording an interception, a fumble caused and a tackle for loss...His
fumble caused resulted in Andre Lott's 30-yard touchdown return of a first quarter
ULM fumble. Andre Lott's 30-yard touchdown return of
a mid-air fumble gave the Vols a 14-0 lead at the 7:48 mark in the first quarter...Lott's
return of a fumble for a TD was the first for the Vols since Eric Westmoreland
in last year's win over Wyoming and the first mid-air fumble return for a score
since Darrin Miller raced 96 yards against Iowa in the Vols win in the 1987
Kickoff Classic victory over the Hawkeyes. Tennessee won the Kicking Game today...The
Vols blocked two ULM punts in the first half, each leading to touchdowns...The
two blocked punts tied a single-game school record set against Kentucky in 1986,
a 28-9 victory...UT kickoff coverage pinned ULM behind the 10-yardline twice in
the first half...The Indians average starting field position in the first half
was their own 19-yardline, while UT's average was the ULM 49, including the
ULM 29-yardline during the second quarter...The Indians did not cross midfield
