Merrill Lynch Volunteer Village
August 09, 2000 | Football
The UTAD announces the creation of the Merrill Lynch Volunteer Village for the 2000 home football season. There will be live entertainment, the WIVK radio station gameday live remote tailgate, food from Domino's Pizza, Chick-fil-A and Fischer's Hot Dogs, as well as assorted inflatable and interactive games for children of all ages.
The Humanities Plaza lawn will once again host this growing Tennessee gameday tradition. Look for the giant inflatable "T."

Watch the "Vol Walk," and the "Pride of the Southland Marching Band" from directly in front of the Torchbearer.
| Additional sponsors will include The Knoxville News-Sentinel and Food City.
The Merrill Lynch Volunteer Village will tentatively open three hours before each home game, with a 3 p.m. opening for the 7:30 p.m. Vols' season lidlifter against Southern Mississippi Sept. 2. Operating times throughout the remainder of the season may vary, depending upon football home game kickoff times. |
