					JOE STEFFY Elected 1987 Tennessee is proud to lay partial claim to still another Hall of Fame player inductee. Joe Steffy, who gained fame on some legendary Army teams of the 1940s, lettered as a freshman at UT in 1944 before his transfer to West Point. Steffy, who came to UT from Chattanooga, currently resides in Newburgh, N.Y.
