Vols Eliminated from Rolex ITA Region III Championships

The Tennessee tennis team finished its run Saturday at the Rolex Regional Championships in Athens, Ga., as both the Vols' singles and doubles competitors were beaten Saturday.
In singles action, Junior Adam Carey won his quarterfinal match against Michael Lang of Miami 6-1, 6-4, before losing in the semifinals to the tournament's No.1 seed and the nation's No. 7 player, Matias Boecker of Georgia 7-5, 6-3.
In doubles play, Tennessee juniors Andy Crews and Peter Handoyo lost their third-round doubles match to Foreman and Gustoffson of Middle Tennessee State 8-4.
Tennessee will be back in action at the USTA Challenger, being held at the UT varsity courts from Nov. 19-26.
