KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off a big series win against No. 14 Texas A&M over the weekend, Tennessee wraps up a four-game homestand this Wednesday at 5 p.m. against No. 20 Tennessee Tech.

The Volunteers will be looking to win their sixth consecutive midweek contest and improve to 11-2 overall in midweek games this season. That will be no small task as the Golden Eagles enter Wednesday's game with the nation's longest active winning streak with 25 straight victories.

In an effort to enhance safety and expedite fan entry at Tennessee athletic events, UT has implemented a clear bag policy at Lindsey Nelson Stadium and all other athletic facilities. Only one clear bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches (gallon size) per person is permitted. Fans are also allowed a small clutch purse not exceeding 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.

Please be aware that gates will not open until 90 minutes prior to game time as opposed to two hours like it has been in years past.
Parking
Baseball parking is located in Lots G16, GF2, GF3, GF4, and C22. (Thompson-Boling Arena and Neyland Stadium events have priority if on same days as baseball games.)

- Tennessee went 3-1 last week and earned its second SEC series victory of the season by taking two of three games from No. 14 Texas A&M.
- The Vols series win was their first in program history over the Aggies and their first over a ranked team since taking two of three from No. 7 Florida in Gainesville in April of last season.
- UT now has seven wins in SEC play, which matches their conference win total from all of last season with 12 games still left to play. The Vols are 6-3 at home in conference play.
- Tennessee's bullpen was spectacular in the team's series win over the Aggies, allowing just five hits and one run in 10 innings of work. In that span the bullpen also had 11 strikeouts and walked just three batters while earning both of the team's wins (Chase Wallace & Garrett Crochet) and also recording a save (Wallace).
- UT's Friday win over Texas A&M snapped the Aggies seven-game winning streak and gave junior RHP Mitchell Kilkenny his first loss of the season (8-1).
- The Big Orange earned their fifth straight midweek win and improved to 10-2 overall in midweek games this season with a 6-2 road win at ETSU last Tuesday.
- Senior Benito Santiago continued his strong play in non-conference games with a two-hit, three-RBI performance against the Buccaneers. The Florida native is now batting .407 with 35 hits and 23 RBI in non-conference play this season.
- Sophomore left hander Will Heflin made his second start in as many weeks and was solid once again in UT's win at ETSU. The Morristown, Tenn., native set a new career high with six innings pitched and did not allow a run while striking out five batters. In his two starts this season, Heflin has thrown 11.1 scoreless innings and has allowed just six hits.
- Sophomore shortstop Andre Lipcius had a big bounce-back week, leading the Vols with a .444 batting average and four RBI for the week. Lipcius hit his fourth home run of the year with a two-run blast in the top of the first inning of UT's game one win over the Aggies.
- Sophomore Jay Charleston had a big weekend against the Aggies, leading the team with a .500 batting average, six hits and two stolen bases.
- Senior center fielder Brodie Leftridge hit his first two home runs of the season with a pair of solo shots against Texas A&M this weekend.
- Freshman RHP Chase Wallace earned his first-career win after allowing just one run on two hits while striking out four in four innings of work out of the bullpen in Tennessee's series-opening win over Texas A&M on Friday Wallace got the final two outs of Sunday's series finale to pick up his third save of the season.
