Quinn Kavanagh is the Associate Athletics Director of Development, Major Gifts for the Tennessee Fund as of December 2025. Here, Kavanagh will lead philanthropic initiatives and strategies for The Shareholders Society.
Previously, Kavanagh served as the Assistant Athletics Director of Development, Major Gifts for the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation, where he was a member of record-setting fundraising years for the Rebels. He joined OMAF in July 2021 as an Associate Director and was a Director before his last promotion. Quinn’s responsibilities included the development of philanthropic major gifts to the Vaught Society, serving all 18 sports at Ole Miss.
Prior to Ole Miss, Kavanagh was an Assistant Director of Development at Penn State University, where he specialized in the Nittany Lion Club Annual Fund. He started full-time in the industry upon completion of his undergraduate degree as the Annual Giving and Stewardship Coordinator at his alma mater, Indiana University, assisting with various aspects of the Varsity Club.
No stranger to intercollegiate athletics, his father, Ken Kavanagh, was a 35+ year veteran in athletics administration having Director of Athletics stints at Bradley University and Florida Gulf Coast University. Also, his great-uncle, Kevin Kavanagh, was the former baseball coach and Athletics Director at Loyola College in Baltimore.
A native of Fort Myers, FL, Quinn earned his B.S. in Informatics from Indiana University with a minor from the Kelley School of Business in 2018. Kavanagh received his Master of Professional Studies in Psychology of Leadership from Penn State’s in August of 2021. Quinn resides in Knoxville with his wife, Grace
