Lauren Chapman joined Tennessee Athletics in the summer of 2026 and currently serves as the director of academic services (Olympic).
In her role, Chapman serves as the primary academic coordinator for women's basketball, men's tennis and diving while also co-leading holistic support for international student-athletes.
Prior to arriving in Knoxville, Chapman served as the director of student-athlete academic services at Bryant University, where she oversaw daily operations and staff while working directly with a caseload of approximately 100 student-athletes.
Originally from Haddam, Connecticut, Chapman earned her master's degree in sport administration from Belmont University, where she also worked as a graduate teaching assistant in the Sport Science Department. She earned her bachelor's degrees in communications and criminal justice from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she was a Division I women's golf student-athlete.
Chapman resides in West Knoxville with her dog, Nash.
