A native of Carrollton, Georgia, De’Mauri Flournoy is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in education with a focus in sport management.
Flournoy played basketball in college and began her career at Vanderbilt University before transferring to UGA. She spent her final three years competing as a member of the Lady Bulldog basketball team.
Off the court, Flournoy was a strong voice for student-athletes. She served as president of UGA’s Inclusive Excellence Committee and represented the university on the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Leadership Council. Her interest in athletics administration was further developed through her hands-on experience working with the Athens Academy athletic department.
Flournoy is excited to begin her career in college athletics at the University of Tennessee, where she looks forward to growing in the field and making a positive impact within the Volunteer community.
