Brenna Wethington

Brenna Wethington joined Tennessee Athletics in the summer of 2026 and currently serves as a learning specialist intern, providing individualized academic support to student-athletes and contributing to the eVOLve mentoring program.
Prior to arriving in Knoxville, Wethington served as a graduate assistant supporting the coordinator of academic development for the football program at Western Kentucky University, where she also earned her master's degree in recreation and sport administration.
Originally from Campbellsville, Kentucky, she earned her undergraduate degree in elementary education in 2021 from Lindsey Wilson University, playing four years of collegiate softball and earning multiple academic all-conference honors alongside three Mid-South Conference Champions of Character awards. Before transitioning to collegiate athletics, Wethington spent two and a half years as an elementary school teacher.
She currently resides in Northwest Knoxville with her dog, Birdie.
