Ava Moes

- Student Assistant Coach
A player for Tennessee during the 2021 season, Ava Moes retired from the game in the summer of 2022. She has moved into a student-assistant role within the Lady Vols' program. Moes assists Director of Operations Jessica Quinn with travel arrangements, running camps and other daily administrative duties. She also helps graduate assistant Andrew Strick with match coding and statistical analysis.
A native of Prior Lake, Minnesota, she was an honorable mention AVCA Under Armour All-American for 2020 and was listed as the nation's No. 71-ranked prospect according to PrepVolleyball.com. PrepDig ranked her as the third-best prospect in the state of Minnesota for 2021.
Moes is majoring in civil engineering with plans to go to graduate school after graduating from the University of Tennessee.
