Kara Foster

- Volunteer Assistant - Distance
The 2018-19 season will be Foster's first on Rocky Top, as she will be a volunteer assistant with the distance group in the track and field program.Â
Foster, along with her husband Ryan, was an All-American at Penn State under Beth Alford-Sullivan at Penn State in the 10,000-meter. After graduating from Penn State with a degree in Kinesiology in 2012, she served as a volunteer assistant for the Nittany Lions.Â
Foster and her husband continued their coaching careers at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania, where Foster was the assistant coach in distance for track and field. The Foster's claimed five conference titles and coached a pair of runners to the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships last year. She also helped coach the Fighting Scots to their first PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships since 1999.
