Michael was an All- America, Team Captain, SEC Champion and USA National Champion while competing for the vols diving program. Michael earned the title of first African American diver to USA history to win the National title. Now serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the University's diving program, Michael also is the Head Coach of Tennessee Aquatics Diving Club where he has produced multiple national and international goal medalist. He now serves with the T Club to help preserve the past, present and future of UT Letter Winners legacy.
