Michaela is in her first season as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Rowing program. Michaela served as an intern athletic trainer with University of Virginia Rowing team during the 2021 season, where the team won its 12th consecutive ACC rowing title.
A native of, Bloomington, Indiana, Michaela received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in undergrad. Upon graduation, she went to Indiana Massage College and received her license in massage therapy. Michaela then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Franklin College in 2021 where she worked with the Butler University Volleyball program and Indy Car Series Teams.
Michaela is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA). She holds a license in Massage Therapy and certifications in Myofascial decompression and Graston Technique.
