2003-04 -- Battled injuries throughout the year ... At Kentucky finished first in the 500 free in 4:38.79 and second in the 1,000 free in 9:39.99 ... Against Indiana, placed third in both the 500 and 1,000 free in 4:39.94 and 9:39.26.
2002-03-- Earned honorable mention All-America honors at the NCAA championships for his efforts on the 11th-place 800 free relay team ... Also placed 23rd in the 500 free with a lifetime-best of 4:22.64 at the NCAA meet ... At the SEC championships, finished 14th in the 200 free in 1:39.24 and helped the 800 free relay squad finish fourth in 6:30.17 ... At the Nike Cup Invitational, swam to a third-place finish in the 500 free in 4:27.91 and also finished ninth in the 200 free in 1:39.38 ... Captured first dual-meet victory against LSU in winning the mile in 15:38.07.
