-- At the SEC Championships, finished 10th in the 200 back in 1:47.23, 21st
in the 400 I.M. in 4:00.32 and 21st in the 500 free in 4:31.85... At the Nike
Cup Invitational, finished second in the 200 back in 1:47.27 and fifth in the
400 I.M. in 3:58.77... Earned his first collegiate win in the home opener against
Indiana with a first-place finish in the 200 back in 1:51.63... At Kentucky,
finished second in the 200 back in 1:52.84 and third in the 1,000 free in 9:40.59.
Prior to UT -- Two-time All-America...Set
high school team records in 6 events. Brings top times of 1:48.7 in the 200
back, 3:59 in the 400 I.M. and 15:52 in the 1650 free...Top meter times include
2:05.01 in the 200 back, 4:37.57 in the 400 IM, and 16:18.16 in the 1500.. Swam
under former Vols Gardner Howland, Doug Lambert, and Lars Jorgenson...Senior
National qualifier.
