Reece Britt is entering his second season as Tennessee men's golf's assistant coach in 2026-27.
In his first season on Rocky Top in 2025-26, Britt made an immediate impact as Tennessee earned its best finish at the NCAA Championships since 1981 by tying for seventh place. In addition to postseason success, he helped the Vols to two tournament wins at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate and the Pauma Valley Invitational, where they finished atop a field consisting of eight top-15 opponents.
Britt, a Maryville, Tennessee, native, joined the Big Orange after a four-year collegiate career at Austin Peay where he was a key member of the lineup.Â
Throughout his senior season with the Governors, Britt logged four top-25 showings with 22 contributing rounds.Â
Additionally, Britt led the Govs in his final collegiate tournament, shooting 1-under overall to tie for 26th at the ASUN Championship.Â
Throughout his career, Britt logged 14 career top-25 performances, including a trio of podium finishes, one of which was a runner-up showing at the 2023 APSU Intercollegiate. He also became the first Austin Peay men's golfer in program history to earn ASUN Golfer of the Week honors.Â
Prior to Austin Peay, Britt was a five-year letterman at The Webb School of Knoxville with three career top-10 finishes in the TSSAA Division II State Championships.Â
In addition to Britt's on-course endeavors, he has been involved in the growing the game of golf in the Volunteer State, working in various roles for the Tennessee Golf Foundation and its junior golf initiatives such as SNEDS Tour.Â
