Mark Gossett is the superintendent of the University of Tennessee's 28-acre, Mack and Jonnie Day Golf Practice Facility.
Gossett manages two full-time assistants, John Bennett and Michael Bounds, while also overseeing a student staff of six. Many of those students are majoring in UT's Turfgrass Science program, just as Gossett did when he graduated from UT in 1993.
Gossett previously served as long-time assistant superintendent at Eagles Landing Golf Club in Sevierville. He grew up and still lives in Seymour.
