- Currently sits at 128 singles wins for his career - the fifth most in program history.
- Became the seventh Vol to ever record 100 singles wins and 100 doubles victories in a career during the SEC Tournament win over Alabama.
- Shined on senior day en route to the Vols' 4-2 victory over No. 3 Texas, registering a 6-1, 7-5 win over 49th-ranked Pierre-Yves Bailly, while adding a 6-3 doubles triumph with Jesudason against Bailly/Eriksson.
- Notched a decisive 6-4, 6-4 win over Missouri's Alan Magadan.
- Carded a 6-4, 6-3 victory over South Carolina's Lucas da Silva.
- Breezed to a 6-0, 6-0 singles win over Vanderbilt's Nathan Cox while also taking down Ruger/Charlap in doubles play, 6-2, along Jesudason en route to a 4-3 win over the Commodores.

- Became in sole possession of ninth in school history for singles wins in a career (113) after a 6-4, 6-4 showcase against No. 83 Max Sheldon of 16th-ranked Michigan State.
- Defeated No. 30 William Mroz of Illinois in the opening round of ITA Kickoff Weekend by a score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
- Earned a doubles victory alongside Newton and tallied a singles win in a 5-2 victory over MTSU.
- Opened the dual season going undefeated in singles and doubles play against Tennessee Tech and Belmont, playing in doubles alongside James Newton and Alan Jesudason.
- Earned ITA All-American status at the NCAA Singles Championships after earning two wins and advancing to the round of 16.

- Took down Texas' duo of Micah Braswell and Eshan Talluri, 6-3, alongside Pieczonka in the NCAA Championships quarterfinals.
- Recorded a decisive 6-2, 6-2 victory over Florida State's Loris Pourroy in the NCAA Super Regionals.
- Defeated Milledge Cossu of ETSU, 6-2, 6-3, and Connor Gannon of Memphis, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1, in the first two rounds of the NCAA Championships.
- Earned an at-large bid in the singles draw of the 2024 NCAA Championships.

- Defeated Arkansas' Bozo Barun, 6-2, 6-3, while tallying a 6-4 victory alongside Pieczonka over the Hogs' Barun and Jake Sweeney at the No. 2 spot.
- Notched a ranked doubles and singles win vs. Georgia, taking down No. 56 Ryan Colby, 7-5, 7-6(4), and battling past the 37th-ranked duo of Colby and Niels Ratiu, 6-4, alongside Pieczonka in the SEC opener.
- Cruised past Harvard's Henry Von Der Schulenburg, 6-1, 6-2, and routed Ronan Jachuck and Masaro Perara, 6-3, alongside Pieczonka en route to a Big Orange sweep in a consolation match at ITA National Indoors.
- Eclipsed 75 career singles wins with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over USC's No. 96 Lodewijk Weststrate on court two in the R16 of ITA National Indoors.
- Earned his first victory over a top-10 opponent against TCU's No. 3 Jack Pinnington in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2.

- Clinched the doubles point against Penn alongside Pieczonka, taking down Manfredi Graziani and Zachery Lim, 7-5.

- Improved his career mark at the No. 4 singles position to 23-4 (14-2 SEC) after a 12-2 (9-1 SEC) showing at the spot during the 2023 dual season.
- In what would be his final career doubles match alongside Hudd, defeated South Carolina's (5/13/23) 48th-ranked Beasley/Story at the No. 2 position, 6-4, in the NCAA Super Regional. Mitsui and Hudd finished with a 46-15 (.754) career doubles record as a pairing in two seasons at Tennessee and were 19-3 together in 2022-23.
- Was impressive in a 7-5, 6-3, victory over Kentucky's (4/22/23) Taha Baadi at No. 4 singles.
- Earned a straight-set, 6-2, 6-4, singles win over Lukas Engelhardt of Ole Miss (4/21/23)
- Alongside Hudd, blanked Ole Miss' (4/21/23) Engelhardt/Stromberg at the No. 2 doubles spot, 6-0, during the SEC Tournament quarterfinals.
- Rolled to a straight-set, 6-2, 7-6(6), singles win on court three over Simon Junk of Ole Miss (4/13/23)
- Logged a convincing, 6-3, 6-3, win over No. 88 Casey Hoole of South Carolina (4/9/23), Tennessee's first singles point in a dominating, 6-1, victory.
- Battled for and won a tiebreaker at the No. 2 doubles slot with Hudd, taking down South Carolina's (4/9/23) 31st-ranked duo of Beasley/Story, 7-6(4).

- Was the first singles court to finish in Tennessee's 4-0 sweep of Kentucky (3/2/23), rolling past Taha Baadi, 6-1, 6-2, on court four.
- Clinched the doubles point with Hudd in Tennessee's sweep of No. 4 Kentucky (3/2/23), winning 7-5 on court three over the 38th-ranked duo of Lapadat/Mercer.
- Dominated Mississippi State (3/31/23) 74th-ranked doubles pair of Lumsden/Jovanovic, 6-0, alongside Hudd.
- Collected a pair of straight-set singles wins in a 2-0 weekend for Tennessee, winning 6-4, 6-3, over Columbia's (3/24/23) Alex Kotzen and 6-4, 6-2, over Giulio Perego of Texas A&M (3/26/23) on court four.
- On court four of singles, took down No. 90 Blake Croyder of Georgia (3/18/23) in three sets, battling back to take a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 decision.
- Won a back-and-forth match agaisnt Alabama's (3/16/23) Samofalov/Sarouk at the No. 2 doubles spot with Hudd, eventually taking a tiebreaker to clinch the doubles point for the Vols with a 7-6(5) victory.

- In his first action at No. 4 singles of the season, captured his 50th career overall singles win and 30th career dual singles victory in a straight-set win on court four, 6-4, 6-4 over Jan Galka of Auburn (3/2/23).
- Edged out Auburn's (3/2/23) Galka/Blaydes, 7-6(5), in a court-two tiebreaker to clinch the doubles point for Tennessee, alongside Hudd.
- Outscored opponents 18-8 in doubles alongside Hudd in three matches at the ITA National Indoor Championship, capturing wins over Virginia's (2/17/23) Montes/Dahlberg, 6-3, Banerjee/Rajesh of Stanford (2/18/23), 6-2 and Illinois' Ozolins/Heck, 6-3. Each win came at the No. 2 lineup spot.
- Teamed up with Tomas Rodriguez for the first time in dual action to bagel Louisiana's (1/27/23) Ribero/Ferrer Chueca, 6-0 on court three.
- Battled past Filippo Moroni of Wake Forest (1/22/23) at the No. 2 singles slot, 6-4, 6-3.
- Clinched the doubles point in his first career dual doubles action with Angel Diaz, defeating Wake Forest's (1/22/23) Efstathiou/Thomson on court three, 6-3.
- While paired with Pat Harper with the first time in his Tennessee career, defeated Simon/Vannemreddy of Charlotte (1/8/23) 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.
- Made his No. 1 singles career debut in Tennessee's season-opening 6-1 win over Charlotte (1/8/23), defeating Coy Simon in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2.
- Won six of his eight singles matches at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, advancing to the consolation semifinals in the singles draw main draw. The run saw him earn five ranked singles wins—four of which came over top-50 opponents—including a convincing 6-2, 6-3 victory over 31st-ranked Edoardo Graziani of Penn (10/7/22).
- Earned a pair of ranked doubles wins early in fall competition with Kent Hunter, toppling No. 45 Perot/Taylor of Texas A&M, 6-4 at the Orlando Fall Shootout and battling past Columbia's 21st-ranked Westphal/Winegar in a tiebreak, 7-6(4).
- Posted four victories in his first five singles matches of the fall slate.

- Finished his freshman season on Rocky Top tied for sixth on Tennessee's all-time freshman singles wins list, with 34 overall singles victories in year one. His singles winning percentage of .810 (34-8) narrowly edged head coach Chris Woodruff's .800 mark in 1992 as the fourth-highest by a freshman in program history.
- Mitsui's 32 doubles wins in 2021-22 serve as the third-most by a Tennessee freshman all-time.
- Clinched match point for a team-leading eighth time during the 2022 dual season, overcoming Baylor's (5/19/22) Finn Bass at the No. 4 singles spot, 3-6, 7-6(3), 6-4 to send the Vols to the NCAA semifinals.
- Enjoyed a 6-1 doubles victory with Hudd over Baylor's #9 Mazzuchi and Soto in Tennessee's 4-3 win over the Bears (5/19/22) in the NCAA quarterfinals.
- Clinched the doubles point alongside Hudd against Florida State (5/14/22), with a 6-4 win over Pourroy and Petrovic on court two.
- Took a 6-4, 7-6(2) singles decision to defeat Duke's (5/7/22) Faris Khan in the NCAA Round of 32.
- Battled for a ranked doubles victory with Hudd in the SEC Tournament semifinals, toppling Florida's (4/23/22) 37th-ranked Andrade/Siimar, 6-4.
- In Tennessee's 4-1 win over Georgia in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals, Mitsui claimed a straight-set, 6-2, 6-4 win over #109 Trent Bryde on court four to clinch the match.
- For the third time during his debut season on Rocky Top, Mitsui was named the SEC Freshman of the Week (4/18/22) following 11 singles wins in his final 12 regular-season matches.
- Was named the SEC Freshman of the Week on 4/13/22, his second time garnering the honor.
- Defeated #95 Francois Musitelli of Kentucky (4/8/22), 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(5) at the No. 4 singles slot.

- In his first match at the No. 3 singles position, Mitsui defeated Guido Marson in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, in Tennessee's road win over Texas A&M (3/25/22).
- Collected a ranked doubles win with Hudd, as the duo battled past South Carolina's (3/11/22) 30th-ranked pairing of Rodrigues/Thomson, 7-6(2).
- Earned a pair of singles wins in Tennessee's first two SEC home matches, defeating James Story of South Carolina (3/11/22), 6-4, 6-3, before taking down Florida's (3/13/22) #93 Andy Andrade, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 on court four.
- Went 2-0 in singles during Tennessee's weekend road trip to The Magnolia State, defeating Alberto Colas of Mississippi State (3/4/22), 7-6(3), 7-5, and Simon Junk of Ole Miss (3/6/22), 6-3, 6-3.
- With his 6-4, 6-0 singles victory over Furman's (3/1/22) James Roelofse, he became the first SEC freshman this season to garner both 20 singles victories and 20 doubles triumphs.
- Aided UT's birth in the ITA Indoor National Championship final with a straight-sets, 6-4, 6-0 singles victory over Baylor's Juampi Mazzuchi (2/20/22).
- Picked up a ranked singles win over Texas A&M's (2/18/22) #105 Guido Marson, 6-0, 6-1 at the ITA Indoor National Championships.
- Claimed his first SEC Freshman of the Week honor on 2/2/22, after logging the 20th doubles win of his UT career with a 6-4 victory over Memphis' Cutting/Sydow at the ITA Kickoff Weekend. He also defeated Oliver Nolan of Old Dominion, 6-1, 6-3 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
- Earned a ranked singles win by defeating Wake Forest's #85 Jakob Schnaitter in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.
- Took down TCU's Tomas Jirousek at the No. 4 singles position as the Vols claimed the top-five road victory (1/16/22).
- In singles action, breezed past his ETSU (1/12/22) competition with a pair of straight-set wins to open dual season.
- Improved to 16-2 in doubles this fall after winning three matches at the Fighting Illini Invitational.
- Reached the doubles semifinals at the ITA All-American Championships with Emile Hudd, claiming victory in six of seven matches while in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their run saw them defeat the 4th-ranked pairing of Daniel Rodrigues/Connor Thomson (South Carolina).
- Won five consecutive singles matches to reach the main draw semifinals at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional. He also won five doubles matches in a row with Angel Diaz during the event, en route to a victory in the doubles consolation final.
- At the Knoxville Showdown (9/10/21-9/12/21), earned his first collegiate singles win and won both of his doubles matches.

- Will be the first player from Japan to represent Tennessee on court.
- Held a career-high ITF Junior World Ranking of sixth, while appearing in all four junior Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, U.S. Open).
- Is the first top-10 ITF recruit to play for the Vols since 2009-10 when UT signed Rhyne Williams and Tennys Sandgren.
- In his junior career he has won nine doubles titles and five singles crowns, while bringing home the prestigious Orange Bowl tournament title in doubles in 2019.
