To make a stock gift, what information do I need to provide the broker?
For DTC Eligible Securities: DTC number: 0443 Pershing, LLC. For credit to account number: N7M002366 and Client account name: The University of Tennessee Foundation. Then, the donor or broker needs to email stock@utfi.org with the donor's name, name of security & number of shares, and a description of what the gift is for.
Why is it necessary to become a donor in order to receive season tickets?
Demand for benefits such as tickets and parking passes created the need for a fair system to be established through which these benefits could be distributed fairly. The Tennessee Fund was created, in part, to help address the needs of our growing donor base. The donor priority point system allows us to track support and award benefits as a way to say thank you for the support. Donor generosity has allowed Tennessee Athletics to be 100% self-funded without financial support from tax or tuition-derived dollars.
Do I get to keep my season tickets every year?
Yes. Once you purchase season tickets through the Tennessee Fund, you will have the option to renew the same seats each year. As long as you continue to renew your seats each year and make the requisite per-seat priority fund contribution, you will maintain the priority to purchase your season tickets. Any year of non-renewal releases the tickets and allows for another season ticket holder to purchase them.
How are season tickets assigned and how can I improve my current season tickets?
Season ticket holders have the first right to renew their season tickets for the following season. If a season ticket holder does not renew their season tickets before the deadline, then the tickets will be dropped off the account. Each spring following the season ticket renewal deadline, the Tennessee Fund will offer a “Relocation & Upgrade Period” where season ticket holders are given the option to relocate to open inventory in non-premium areas. This online process occurs in timeslots based on donor rank and is the best opportunity for a donor to improve their season ticket location. The opportunity for relocation will be extended to as many donors ranks as inventory permits. All premium seating relocations and new sales will be managed by the Tennessee Fund in a separate process. To learn more about improving your donor rank, please click here.
What are donor priority points and how do I gain them on my Tennessee Fund account?
Donor priority points work in a variety of ways but the most important aspect of them is they are the point value that determines Tennessee Fund Donor Rank. The more priority points on an account, the better your Donor Rank is. This can lead to better opportunities for tickets, relocations, seat additions, and postseason opportunities. An account can gain priority points in the following ways: 1 point per $100 donated (includes philanthropic donations & priority fund contributions), 5 points for each year of consecutive years giving, 10 points for being a UT Alum, 50 points for being a UT Letterwinner, and Point Bonuses for Shareholders Society Commitments
How can I make a gift to a Tennessee sports team? How are the gifts utilized?

These gifts are utilized at the discretion of each head coach. You can make a gift to a specific sport team here: Sport Specific Giving
