The objective of police is to improve the traffic flow and decrease the time fans spend sitting in traffic. Here are some measures the police utilize:
- Southbound traffic (towards the river) on Lake Loudoun Blvd will not be permitted to make a left hand turn onto Phillip Fulmer Way beginning 45 minutes prior to tip off.
- Northbound traffic on Lake Loudoun Blvd will not be permitted to make left hand turn onto Chamique Holdsclaw Drive within 45 minutes of tip off.
- This primarily impacts those permit holders who turn left from Lake Loudoun to access the G10 parking lots from Phillip Fulmer Way and those who choose to enter 30A or G5/30 entrances from Phillip Fulmer Way.
