While we are committed to providing the option to receive a full refund, we ask that you please consider donating your ticket payment and donation as a philanthropic gift to the Student-Athlete Volunteer Excellence Fund (S.A.V.E.). Your gift will provide support for our more than 600 Vol and Lady Vol student-athletes during the 2020-21 academic year.
In addition to Tennessee Fund donor points and your donation being eligible for tax deductibility, Tennessee Athletics is dedicating a “Gave Their All” wall inside Neyland Stadium. Your name will be listed on a permanent tribute wall inside Neyland Stadium for “giving your all” when the Vols needed it the most. This wall will list the names of everyone who opted to invest their 2020 football ticket payments and associated donations in support of UT’s more than 600 Vols and Lady Vols, thus enabling Tennessee Athletics to weather the multi-million-dollar revenue shortfall.
- Donation-required ticket options will have the opportunity to donate, rollover or refund both their ticket payment and Tennessee Fund gift.
- Ticket options with no donation required will have the opportunity to create a donation, rollover or refund their ticket payment.
If you accepted tickets in the seat allocation process and were capped on the number of tickets you wanted to purchase, your selection will be for the amount above your cap. Additionally, your selection will be for remaining ticket money only.
OPTION 1: GIVE MY ALL FOR TENNESSEE
Donate ALL of your 2020 Ticket Renewal and Tennessee Fund gift to the S.A.V.E. initiative, which goes toward student-athlete academic expenses. By selecting this option, the donor’s name will be included on a permanent “Gave Their All” wall in Neyland Stadium beginning with the 2021 season.
* If you accepted tickets in the seat allocation process and were capped on the number of tickets you wanted to purchase, your donation to the S.A.V.E. initiative will be for the remaining ticket money only.
Benefits:
- Five times (5x) the Tennessee Fund membership points on the gift portion to S.A.V.E. (5 points for every $100 donated).
- Lock in your 2021 football season parking pass in the same location as 2020.
- You must complete your 2021 gift by March 1, 2021, maintaining the same giving level as 2020.
- Donations to S.A.V.E. are 100% philanthropic and are eligible for tax deductibility.
- Please note, if your Tennessee Fund Annual Gift provides access to priority 2020-21 men's basketball or women's basketball season tickets, please check your per-seat gift requirement via the MAP or contact the Tennessee Fund at 865-974-1218 if you have questions related to making your selection and/or your basketball season tickets. OPTION 2: CARRY THE FIGHT TO 2021
Rollover the 2020 Ticket Renewal cost to the 2021 season, thereby completing your renewal for 2021 and donating your Tennessee Fund gift portion from 2020 to the S.A.V.E. initiative (a 2021 Tennessee Fund annual gift will need to be made prior to receiving 2021 tickets).
* If you accepted tickets in the seat allocation process and were capped on the number of tickets you wanted to purchase, and want to roll the remaining ticket money over, please select Defend the Checkerboards.
Benefits:
- Five times (5x) the Tennessee Fund membership points on the gift portion to S.A.V.E. (5 points for every $100 donated).
- Donations to S.A.V.E. are 100% philanthropic and are eligible for tax deductibility.
- Please note, if your Tennessee Fund Annual Gift provides access to priority 2020-21 men's basketball or women's basketball season tickets, please check your per-seat gift requirement via the MAP or contact the Tennessee Fund at 865-974-1218 if you have questions related to making your selection and/or your basketball season tickets. OPTION 3: DEFEND THE CHECKERBOARDS
Rollover the 2020 Ticket Renewal and Tennessee Fund gift to the 2021 season, thereby completing your renewal for 2021 (including 2021 annual gift requirement).
* If you accepted tickets in the seat allocation process and were capped on the number of tickets you wanted to purchase, your rollover amount will be for the remaining ticket money only.
Benefit:
- Double (2x) the Tennessee Fund membership points on the gift portion (2 points for every $100 donated).
- Please note, if your Tennessee Fund Annual Gift provides access to priority 2020-21 men's basketball or women's basketball season tickets, please check your per-seat gift requirement via the MAP or contact the Tennessee Fund at 865-974-1218 if you have questions related to making your selection and/or your basketball season tickets. OPTION 4: REFUND
You may receive a full refund of both your 2020 Ticket Renewal and Tennessee Fund gift. Tennessee Fund donors who renew their membership by the donation deadline may retain their season tickets for 2021.

HOW WILL MY DECISION AFFECT MY 2021 TICKETS?
Regardless of decision to attend games or not attend games for this fall, everyone who purchased 2020 football season tickets will retain their status as a season-ticket holder along with their seats of choice when the 2021 renewal process begins.
HOW WILL GIFTS TO THE S.A.V.E. FUND BE USED BY TENNESSEE ATHLETICS?
Any gift to the Student-Athlete Volunteer Excellence Fund (S.A.V.E.) will be used to support the ongoing costs of funding a world-class academic and athletic experience for our more than 600 student-athletes. During this incredibly uncertain time, it is our goal to continue to fund our mission of providing Vol and Lady Vol student-athletes the same well rounded support system that allows them to achieve their educational goals while also training to compete in the most prestigious conference in the country – the SEC.
IF I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE TICKETS AND ATTEND GAMES, WILL I GET MY NAME ON THE “GAVE THEIR ALL” WALL, OR DOES THAT JUST APPLY TO THOSE WHO DO NOT ATTEND AND DONATE THEIR TICKET MONEY AND TENNESSEE FUND DONATION?
Yes, whether you purchase tickets and attend, or you donate your ticket money and Tennessee Fund donation as a gift to the S.A.V.E. fund, your name will be included on the “Gave Their All” wall in Neyland Stadium.
ARE MY OPTIONS DIFFERENT IF I HAVE A VOL PASS?
The same options will apply to Vol Pass Holders. You may elect to see what seats are available, please note seats will be assigned based on Tennessee Fund membership giving and rank. After Tennessee Fund membership and rank, non-donor season tickets will be assigned. Vol Pass holders can also elect to donate to the S.A.V.E. program, rollover the cost for the 2021 season or request a refund.
WHAT IF I PURCHASE SEATS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A DONATION?
The same options will apply to those season tickets that do not require a donation. You may elect to see what seats are available, please note seats will be assigned based on Tennessee Fund membership giving and rank. After Tennessee Fund membership and rank, non-donor season tickets will be assigned. Non-donation season ticket holders can also elect to donate to the S.A.V.E program, rollover the cost for the 2021 season or request a refund.
WHEN WILL MY REFUND BE PROCESSED?
The Tennessee Athletic Ticket Office will process ticket refunds as requested. This includes parking and cushion seat payments on your account. If you paid by credit card and requested a refund of either/both your ticket or donation payment, that refund may not be reflected on your credit card statement for up to 90 days. If you paid with cash/check/e-check and requested a refund, a physical check will be mailed to your address on file within six weeks. Please ensure that your address is correct. All donations to the University of Tennessee Athletics Department are handled by the Tennessee Fund office, working in conjunction with the University of Tennessee Foundation. Please note that ticket charges and gift/donation charges are separate transactions, and if refunds are requested they will be refunded separately as well. Please allow up to 90 days for refund processing from the date of your request.
IS MY DECISION FINAL?
Those who select the opportunity to learn about potential seating options will have the ability to decline the allocated seats once they viewed them in their AllVols account and support the S.A.V.E. Fund. Those who notify us they are unable to attend games this season and select any of the options within the S.A.V.E. Fund will have made their decision final for the 2020 season. As a reminder, in either selection, you will retain your seats for the 2021 renewal process.
WHAT IF I PAID BY ECHECK?
If you paid with e-check for your 2020 football season ticket renewal, the benefit of two free tickets to a game will be rolled over to the 2021 season assuming you choose to donate your money or rollover the payment to the 2021 season. If you rollover or donate you will have an additional two free tickets in 2021.
HOW WILL A REFUND AFFECT MY CONSECUTIVE YEARS OF GIVING?
If you request a refund related to your Tennessee Fund Annual Gift it will not negatively affect your consecutive years of giving points.
HOW WILL THIS AFFECT MY SEASON TICKETS TO BASKETBALL?
In order to maintain your basketball season tickets for the 2020-21 season, you will need to satisfy the per-seat gift requirement. Choosing an option to donate to the S.A.V.E. Fund and movement of your gift to 100% tax-deductibility (or refund) will negatively impact your eligibility to retain those season tickets. CAN I USE MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE SINGLE GAME TICKETS?
All single game ticket purchases will be a new transaction. Funds related to your previous 2020 season ticket renewal by your selection will either be donated to the S.A.V.E. Fund, rolled over for your 2021 renewal or refunded.
