Tennis Coaching Staff
Head Coach Chris Woodruff
A lifelong resident of Knoxville, head coach Chris Woodruff won an NCAA singles championship as a Vol in 1993 and has been a member of the UT coaching staff since completing his professional tennis career in 2002. He was named head coach in May 2017.
Coaching Highlights:
- Former ATP top-30 professional with two tour titles and an appearance in the 2000 Australian Open quarterfinals
- Three No. 1-ranked singles players
- Three No. 1-ranked doubles teams
- Member of the Tennessee coaching staff since 2002 and helped lead the Vols to three SEC titles and an appearance in the 2010 NCAA team final
