Also join us in wishing a Happy Birthday to two VFLs, Daniel Hood and Alan Cockrell. Cockrell became the first freshman to start at quarterback for the Vols in 1981. In baseball, he was an All-American outfielder for Tennessee and was drafted overall by the giants in 1984.Â
