Media Reaction To Summitt's Arthur Ashe Award Presentation

In arguably the most spellbinding segment of the 2012 ESPYs Wednesday night, former Vol quarterback Peyton Manning, now with the Denver Broncos, introduced Lady Vol Head Basketball Coach Emeritus Pat Summitt as the winner of the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. Actress Reese Witherspoon, who like Summitt grew up in Tennessee, narrated a moving video tribute that traced Summitt's rise from a hard-working youngster on a dairy farm in Henrietta to head coach of the eight-time NCAA champion Lady Vols to courageously facing the diagnosis of early on-set dementia, Alzheimer's Type, that she received in August 2011.
